The Insurance Board of Sri Lanka, having considered the application for registration made under Section 14 of the Regulation of Insurance Industry Act No.43 of 2000, by People’s Insurance Ltd. has granted registration as an Insurer to carry on General Insurance Business with effect from 2nd December 2009.
