The Insurance Board of Sri Lanka at its 67th Meeting held on 28th December 2007 has decided to increase the maximum limit of Indemnity of the Policies referred to in Determination 8 of 30 / 10 / 2002 to Rs.10 million with effect from 1st January 2009.

Accordingly Determination # 8 dated 30/10/2002 will cease to be in operation from 1st January 2009.
 
Insurance Brokering Companies are hereby advised to take note of this change when renewing the professional Indemnity Policies for year 2009.
