Please find enclosed herewith a copy of the Gazette Extraordinary No. 1244/5 dated 9th July 2002, which permits the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka to charge and levy a cess on the annual net premium income of every insurer in terms of Section 7 of the Regulation of Insurance Industry Act No. 43 of 2000 at such rates published in the aforesaid Gazette.
