The Insurance Board of Sri Lanka having considered the corrective measures taken by ABC Insurance Company Limited to comply with Solvency Margin (General Insurance) Rules published in Gazette Extraordinary No.1341/8 of 17.05.2004 has removed the suspension of registration imposed on ABC Insurance Company Limited in respect of General Insurance Business with effect from 3 p.m. of April 22, 2008, in terms of Section 18 (4) (a) of the Regulation of Insurance Industry Act, No. 43 of 2000.
