The Insurance Board of Sri Lanka (IBSL) is a statutory body established under the Regulation of Insurance Industry Act No. 43 of 2000 (the Act), which is responsible for the development, supervision and regulation of the insurance industry in Sri Lanka.
The IBSL has decided to call for “Expression of Interest” from Advertising and Public Relations Firms/Agencies having sound knowledge and experience in conducting Public Awareness Programmes and in Public Relations Activities, to be short-listed for undertaking Public Awareness Programmes to popularise the activities related to insurance industry and regulatory activities that are undertaken by the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka and also to educate the public on various benefits that could be derived from insurance.
Interested Firms/Agencies are requested to submit their "Expression of Interest" describing their experience and exposure, preferably with a regulatory body, in conducting Public Awareness Programmes and Public Relations Activities on the above-mentioned areas in order to facilitate the evaluation of “Expression of Interest”.
"Expression of Interest" should reach the IBSL under sealed cover no later than 5th February 2008, 4.30 pm and you may mark “Undertaking Public Awareness and Public Relations Assignments” on the left hand corner of the envelope.
